Lisa Bordas. Principle Psychologist

Lisa is a registered Psychologist with a Counseling endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APRHA). She holds membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and holds certification as and Emotionally Focussed Couples Therapist through the International Centre for Emotionally Focussed Therapy (ICEFFT).

Lisa has worked as a Psychologist since 1991 in public, not-for-profit and private settings. She has worked in private practice since 2008.

Lisa trained in a wide array of modalities which informs her approach with people. She is qualified in Schema Therapy, Eye-Movement-Densentisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

From 2016 to the present, Lisa sought specialist training in the field of Couples Therapy, namely Emotionally Focussed Couples Therapy. She is the first in Western Australia to obtain international recognition in this field and now offers supervision as a supervisor-in-training to those who seek a similar course of training.

Alongside her fundamental training and expertise in Psychology, Lisa is passionate in helping individuals and couples understand their own attachment experience and internal neurobiological and emotional “maps” to lead fulfilling relationships with themselves and, significant others.

Nicola Cary M App Psych-Organisational Psychology

Nicola Cary is an AHPRA registered Consulting Psychologist here at eq2 connect. She is a warm enthusiastic conscientious professional, who is passionate about optimising well-being, happiness and performance; equipping people with a 'toolbox' of skills for life.
Nicola has a First-Class Bachelor of Psychology Degree, a Master of Applied and Organisational Psychology, and a Business Degree. Nicola has lived in the United Kingdom, USA, Indonesia and Australia; she has been a business owner, and has experience in corporate settings, such as American Express, Shell Exploration and Production, Anglicare, Human Inc and in counselling settings.

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Kelly Botha

Kelly has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is passionate about inspiring others to challenge their perspectives and explore possibilities. She works from a strengths-based perspective and believes in the power of human connection, authenticity and self-awareness. Kelly draws upon her extensive experience with international athletes, teams, musicians and leaders, and uses a range of clinical modalities to deliver effective interventions. She has a special interest in supporting individuals through life transitions and adjustments, exploring new opportunities and change, and appreciates working collaboratively with referral sources. Kelly will be working from the eq2Connect offices on a Wednesday.

Psychologist

Mitchell Woodland - Bpsych (Hons) MAPS

Mitch is a registered psychologist working solely via telehealth at eq2connect. Previously living and working in Bunbury, in 2021 Mitch relocated to the eastern states where he is originally from.

Mitch works from a compassionate stance and aims to help his clients make sense of their experiences and find new ways forward in life; he uses a range of therapy modalities to suit the client and takes a holistic view of health and wellbeing.

Mitch is currently taking new referrals (2024).

Receptionist

Diane French

Diane is originally from the county of Shropshire where she grew up on a farm.
Diane gained qualifications in Early Years Child Care and Education and worked in that environment until she came to live in South West WA in 2006.
After settling with family, Diane became involved in fund raising events and voluntary work. All this provided an introduction to the way of life in the South West of WA.
Since then Diane has worked as a Receptionist/Administrator in Bunbury for over 10 years. Diane believe's it is important to welcome clients with warmth and friendliness. The role in reception contributes to each person's experience when they walk through the door here at eq2connect and Diane enjoys her role very much.
